Kenya is the most deteriorated football team in Africa in the latest World FIFA Rankings released on Tuesday.

The East African country moved 14 places down to position 102, only rivaled by Gabon that moved 13 positions down.

North African side Tunisia is the best ranked team from Africa, dislodging Egypt who maintained position 30 worldwide.

This is the first time in 15 years that the Carthage Eagles have become the best ranked African side.

The North Africans are yet to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, but only need a point against Libya in the last qualifier match day next month.

The biggest gainer from the continent is Comoros, who moved 14 places up to 127.

Only seven African sides made it into the top 50 in the new ranking.

Here’s the top ten teams from Africa;

  1. Tunisia (28)
  2. Egypt (30)
  3. Senegal (32)
  4. Democratic Republic of Congo (35)
  5. Nigeria (41)
  6. Cameroon (42)
  7. Morocco (48)
  8. Ghana (52)
  9. Burkina Faso (55)
  10. Cote d’Ivoire (62)
