Kenya gears up for COVID-19 mass testing

The Kenyan government on Friday received 200,000 sampling and testing tubes from China, key to mass testing exercise.

Minister for Health, Mutahi Kagwe who was accompanied by Interior minister Fred Matiang’i and James Macharia from Transport docket to receive the consignment of medical supplies, at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) said the medical supplies are to boost the country’s efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The medical supplies from China were flown to the country by a Kenyan Airways 787 Dreamliner. TAKE A LOOK.
