Amina Mohamed is leading a delegation of Kenyan officials at the ICC this week. They’re seeking reforms at the court.South Africa too is pushing for changes.

Kenya wants recanted evidence excluded from the trial of Deputy President William Ruto.

Ruto is charged with crimes against humanity, stemming from the violence that followed the 2007 elections.

South Africa is also raising its concerns. The country’s ruling ANC wants South Africa to withdraw from the court.

Observers however say that some African countries want to discredit the ICC.
