Uganda’s oldest university – Makerere — has welcomed the news that it’s rated one of the top tertiary institutions on the continent.
Makerere has been rated third in Africa in the Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings. The respected institution in Kampala counts former Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki among its alumni.
