Kakuma Refugee Camp to be expanded due to influx from South Sudan

Despite the decision by Kenya to close refugee camps, assurances are being made that the second largest camp after Dadaab, will remain open.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi says the Kakuma camp will be expanded and cooperation between refugees and the local community will also be improved.
