Journalists in Gambia hopeful of better times under Adama Barrow’s rule

Press freedom in the Gambia was curtailed for almost two decades under the regime of former president Yahya Jammeh.

Now the new administration of President Adama Barrow is expected to ease restrictions on the fourth estate.
