Israel has suffered its first casualty in the week-long conflict with Hamas militants. An Israeli civilian was killed on Tuesday by rocket fire from the Gaza Strip following Hamas’s rejection of an Egypt brokered ceasefire. And as Israel comes under pressure to halt civilian deaths, the army has released footage which purports to show air strikes in Gaza being aborted due to civilian presence.
