IMF cautions African finance ministers over growing debt levels

The International Monetary Fund is urging African Finance Ministers gathering in Washington to urgently enact reforms deemed necessary to boost economic growth prospects.

The Fund’s overall assessment for 2016 shows Sub-Saharan African nations overall growing by just 1.4%.
