
Good news for Kenya after a double win in men’s 1500m in the world championships
Kenya’s Elijah Motonei Manangoi lead the way for teammate Asbel Kiprop to win gold in the men’s 1500m at the IAAF World Championships on Sunday.
Manangoi clocked 3min 33.61sec, finishing 0.38sec ahead of compatriot Timothy Cheruiyot. Filip Ingebrigtsen of Norway claimed bronze in 3:34.53.
Kenya was the second country in the world and the first in Africa with the most medals in IAAF world championships in London, UK.
