Ghana police arrest, question 3 men found with explosives

Ghanaian police want to determine how three men acquired grenades and explosives and whether the trio is linked to the Islamic State group

Inspector General of Police David Asante-Apeatu is not releasing the nationalities of the three but did say they were arrested in a house at Odorkor near Accra, the capital, after officers received tip. He said police are collaborating with other security agencies.

Asante-Apeatu did not give further details and urged Ghanaians to remain calm.

A local newspaper said the men arrested are Malian and Libyan citizens.
