
Ghana confirms nine new COVID-19 cases

Ghana has confirmed nine additional COVID-19 cases bringing the total number to 204, according to Ghana’s Disease Surveillance Department.
The new cases are all from the Greater Accra region. Four of the cases have no history of travel or confirmed contact with any other case. Another four have no travel history but are contacts of confirmed cases in Ghana. One travelled to Ghana from Benin within the past 14 days.
As of April 2, Ghana has recorded 204 cases COVID-19 with five deaths. Most of the cases are reported from routine surveillance activities.
