Gabon’s government warns opposition against violence ahead of ruling

Gabon government officials have warned opposition leader Jean Ping that he risks arrest if unrest resumes in the country.

Many supporters are awaiting the Constitutional Court ruling on Ping’s challenge to last month’s presidential election outcome. The Court has until Friday to decide whether or not to recount the ballots, which gave Ali Bongo a second term in office.
