Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a hat-trick on Sunday, as Borussia Dortmund ran riot in a 5-1 home win over Augsburg, to stay second in the Bundesliga.

He opened his account by finishing off a superb move for the opener, after 18 minutes.

Marco Reus then doubled Dortmund’s lead three minutes later, before adding his second before the break. Augsburg striker Raul Bobadilla pulled a goal back. But Aubameyang grabbed his second goal on 85 minutes, then beat Augsburg goalkeeper Roman Burki on the 91st minute, to secure his second hat trick in four days. He now joins Robert Lewandowski at the top of the German Bundesliga goalscoring chart.
