French Centrist candidate Emmanuel Macron’s email hacked and leaked online

Centrist candidate Emmanuel Macron has fallen victim to hackers, a day after it emerged that Marine Le Pen’s campaign website was repeatedly targeted by a far-left hacker.
The breach saw Macron’s campaign emails accessed and leaked online.
Around nine gigabytes of data were posted on a document-sharing website that allows anonymous posting.
France’s election commission has urged the media to be cautious about publishing details of the emails, which could lead to criminal charges.
Macron’s campaign team described the hack as an attempt at destabilization and said the emails had been mixed with fake documents in order to cause confusion.
