Former South Sudanese vice president Riek Machar is in South Africa for medical treatment.

In August, Machar was treated in a hospital in neighboring Sudan. He fled Juba following deadly clashes between his supporters and troops loyal to his rival, President Salva Kiir. South African authorities are unable to confirm how long Machar will remain in the country.

CCTV’s Yolisa Njamela has more from the capital, Pretoria.
