Former FIFA general secretary banned from football for life
Former FIFA executive committee member Chuck Blazer has been banned from all football related activity for life.
The former executive committee member, who has been a central figure in the corruption scandal involving the world football governing body, was charged with committing many and various acts of misconduct.
Blazer, the former Concacaf general secretary, worked undercover with United States prosecutors after pleading guilty to charges of bribery, money laundering and tax evasion.
He had acknowledged to investigators that he had received more than $11 million in bribes.
