Football is certainly the most beautiful l and loved game in the world.

Football fans and even players themselves have been documented to have gone to extreme lengths to show their love for the game.

One football player in a league in Germany Anthony Ujah apologised for grabbing the horns of a Goat mascot in celebration of a goal he had scored.

This time around its the love for the game that lead Palestinian football fans to show pride in their team.

The daily Mirror website showed these pictures of a  LION CUB which was taken to watch the game in a crowded stadium.

The Lion cub named Alex was seen in the stands for a match between Shabab Rafah and rivals El-Sadaka in the Palestinian league, clad in his team’s jersey.

You would expect fans to be scared by they were rather happy having Alex around the stands with them.

They were reportedly delighted by the presence of the predator, while younger fans played with him after the match.

The lion was born in a zoo in Rafah but the owner was forced to sell the cub in order to keep feeding other animals.

Two other adorable two-month-old lion cubs from the same zoo, Mona and Alex, have been living with refugee Saad Aldeen Al-Jamal and his six children at their home in Rafah, in southern Gaza.

The 54-year-old father says he bought the cubs from the impoverished Rafah zoo and the unusual pets have become an integral part of his family.
