Heavy downpour has destroyed many homes in Somalia, rendering many Somalis homeless.

The United Nations reports that more than 130,000 Somalis have been affected by the floods.

The rains have also affected major roads in the capital Mogadishu, rendering them impassable.

Locals living in the central past of the country have been urged to move to higher ground
