A Guatemalan newspaper is reaching out to a community that has never received much attention in the country – the visually impaired. More than 100,000 people in Guatemala are blind or have partial vision.

Now a newspaper is being published in Braille to help inform them. This week’s Game Changer on “Americas Now” is “Publinews.”

The Braille edition of “Publinews” – or public news – is the first of its kind in Central America. The first edition of 2,500 was distributed around the country and new editions will be printed as monthly news magazines.
