The visit by the Chinese President Xi Jinping to Egypt could provide a much-needed tonic for north eastern African country.

In coming days, it’ll mark five years since the Tahrir Square uprising.

And the country has known some very hard times since then. Reviving the economy is crucial, and many in Cairo say China has a big role to play.
