Egypt strongly condemns deadly bomb blast at Pakistani seminary
Egypt strongly condemned on Tuesday the recent bomb explosion at a seminary in Peshawar city northwestern Pakistan that resulted in tens of casualties, said the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
“Egypt renews its total rejection of all forms of terrorism, violence and extremism, and its solidarity with friendly state Pakistan in this painful affliction,” said the Egyptian statement.
The North African country expressed support for the Pakistani government and people in the face of “brutal terrorism.”
Earlier on Tuesday, a bomb attack took place at a seminary in Peshawar, the capital city of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, leaving at least seven students dead and over 120 people, including students, wounded.
Although some of the past attacks were claimed by the Pakistani Taliban, the armed group released a statement condemning Tuesday’s blast and denying involvement.
