Egypt lands $2.7 billion currency swap deal with China

Egypt has reached a currency swap agreement with China valued at $ 2.7b.

That moves Egypt ever closer to meeting the terms required to clinch a $ 12 B loan deal with the International Monetary Fund.

The deal  is reportedly being processed by officials from both governments, as Yasser Hakim, now reports.
