Egypt’s Cabinet held its weekly meeting in Sharm El Sheikh following the Russian Plane Crash.

This was the first meeting for the full cabinet outside Cairo.

The government stressed that the Russian finding that a terrorists attack has been put into consideration, but Egypt’s investigation committee has not yet reached a conclusion that the crash was a criminal act.

Moscow confirmed that a bomb attack brought down the passenger jet over Egypt last month, killing all 224 people on board.

In response to the attack Putin pledged to step up air strikes in Syria where Moscow is conducting a bombing campaign it says is targeting ISIL and other terrorist groups.
