Drones are coming! But it’s not just for amateur fun and games this time.
Three years after Amazon first announced drone delivery plans, the company says it conducted a successful trial of the concept in early December in the UK. Amazon may be the first to succeed, but it is certainly not the only company trying to replace manpower with little flying machines. They may eventually wind up doing more than just delivering orders to your doorstep, or your balcony.
