Donald Trump sends letter of thanks to China’s President Xi Jinping
U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a letter to his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.
Trump has thanked President Xi for congratulating him after his November election win.
He’s also wished the people of China a happy Spring Festival and a prosperous Year of the Rooster.
The White House says the letter expresses Trump’s willingness to work with Xi to foster ties that benefit both sides.
