Côte d’Ivoire winger Wilfried Zaha scored his first goal in as many games for Crystal Palace in their 3-2 defeat against Chelsea at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.

Zaha powered in a 25-yard strike with his right foot that flew into the net past goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the 34th minute.

Zaha’s strike pulled Palace back into the game at 2-1 after the visitors took a two-goal lead through Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic.

England striker Tammy Abraham made it 3-1 for Chelsea in the 71st minute but Christian Benteke reduced the deficit a minute later to ensure a nervy finish.

Palace remains 14th on 42 points after 34 games while Chelsea climbed up to third with 60 points.
