City of Durban fosters young artistic talent

The South African city of Durban has a number of initiatives in place to give young artists the opportunity to showcase their work.

Recently, artists were challenged to depict the city in the most creative way, using any art form they chose. Sabastien Pillay won the competition for his illustration “Dinner Is Served”, which portrays Durban within a popular street dish known as a bunny chow.
