Chinese firms in Kenya, through the China General Chamber of Commerce East Africa, have donated money, face masks and protective clothing to China.

The aim is to assist health workers fighting to contain the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the world’s second biggest economy.

The chairman of the China chamber of commerce in East Africa, Han Jun, says more assistance in cash and protective clothing is expected.

This is as the Chinese companies continue to donate money and equipment.
