The Chinese embassy in Kenya held a cocktail party on Wednesday to welcome the new Chinese ambassador to Kenya, his excellency, Wu Peng.

Kenya’s chief administrative secretary in the ministry of foreign affairs Ababu Namwamba Lauded the ambassador’s illustrious career as a diplomat and praised the shared values between the two countries.

Among the invited guests were members of the diplomatic cooperation, members of parliament and representatives of the Kenyan government.

Ambassador Wu has promised to strengthen the relationship between China and Kenya.
