The announcement was made by visiting Chinese Foreign Affairs minister Wang Yi, who met with Angola’s President João Lourenço in Luanda.

According to the Foreign Ministry, China’s support for Angola will focus on technology transfer for development of the Southern African country.

Wang also stressed the importance of  expanding bilateral cooperation, adding that his country’s authorities are pleased with the way the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, is searching for solution to development of Angola.

He added that he had received assurances from the president on the creation of an attractive business environment for private investors in the country.
