Praises are still rolling in after last week’s BRICS Summit in Johannesburg. One South African reporter has singled out China’s contribution to the meeting – especially in calls for further cooperation and continued multilateralism.

Talking to CGTN, Political Reporter Nickolaus Bauer said: “We saw very, very strong words from the various member states of BRICS, specifically China, the president Xi Jinping, said anybody who wants to pursue unilateralism only hurt themselves in the long run, throwing some serious shade away of Donald Trump, the likes I’ve never seen before.”
