China is sparing no efforts in fight against virus

The Chinese government has reassured the African people that stringent public measures are being enforced to ensure that its nationals travelling into the continent are free from the Covid-19 virus.

Speaking today on a leading Kenyan broadcaster, KTN NEWS, the Economic and Commercial minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Nairobi, Dr Guo Ce, spoke of China’s latest efforts in fighting the novel coronavirus outbreak. He said that said businesses in China are getting back to normal, while the heath sector in China remains highly vigilant.

He said China’s overall economic situation could be totally back on its feet in 2 to 3 month’s time. Speaking during the same panel discussion, CGTN Anchor Beatrice Marshall said there is no need for the public to engage in misinformation about the virus. Marshall pointed at the increased transparency by Chinese authorities in availing information to the public on the outbreak and the various mitigation measures underway to contain it.

A medical expert working in Kenya also spoke at the penal, he urged the public to take necessary precautions and not to panic.
