Chinese President Xi Jinping has met his Iranian counterpart, Hassan Rouhani, in Tehran.
Xi is the first leader to visit the country, since its international sanctions were lifted last week.
The two countries have signed a strategic cooperation agreement, to boost their diplomatic and economic engagement.
