Chelsea fans banned from matches over racism

Some Chelsea fans have been banned from attending football games for their role in the Paris metro racism incident.

A London court passed the ruling that the fans, William Simpson, Richard Barklie, Josh Parson and Jordan Munday, were banned from attending any matches for the role they played in Paris metro racism incident.

One of the fans, Richard Barklie, is a former policeman and human rights activist was part of a group that sang racist chants on the French underground transport in a video that went viral in February.

He admitted to have pushed the victim in question but blamed him for using aggression.

Barklie was given a five- year ban from football matches after the judge found him guilty of demonstrating aggressive, disorderly behavior and proving to be a menace.

Jordan Munday was banned for three years while the rest; William Simpson and Josh Parsons got five years ban.
