Chad’s parliament outlaws death penalty for acts of terror

Chad on Tuesday abolished the death penalty for terrorist activities, Justice Minister Djimet Arabi told AFP.

“The MPs unanimously voted to abolish the death penalty for acts of terror,” said Arabi, who had proposed the amendment.
