Read < 1 minute

China Global Television Network Europe officially took to the air on Monday with its first live broadcast from London.

The London bureau is the third CGTN production center outside Beijing, after Nairobi and Washington DC.

CGTN Europe will bring news and features from across the continent as the broadcaster expands its global coverage of original journalism.

The London hub will serve as a base for correspondents to cover an area often overlooked, with in-depth reports from Central and Eastern Europe.

CGTN Europe’s initial programs will include; Global Business, which will offer up-to-date coverage of the latest ECONOMIC trends and developments; The World Today, a thirty-minute round-up of the biggest stories from Europe and around the globe; The Agenda, a weekly talk show; and Razor, a show dedicated to cutting edge Science and Technology.
