Cameroonian star Eric Choupo-Moting is confident Paris Saint-Germain will overcome Liverpool tonight in their Champions League clash to enable them progress to the Round of 16.

The French side currently sit in third place in Group C with five points, behind Napoli and Liverpool who both have six points.

A loss for PSG could effectively knock them out of the competition, assuming Napoli beats FK Crvena Zvezda in the other Group C game.

“We have two important games but for me, it’s very clear that the winner between us and Liverpool will go through,” Mirror Football quotes Choupo-Moting.

“We have the quality to beat Liverpool and as a team, we are in a very good moment.”

The 29-year-old moved to PSG in the summer after his former side Stoke City was relegated to the English Championship.

The Cameroonian has enjoyed a promising start to life in Ligue 1, scoring once in five games.
