Business activity in South Africa picks up in the third quarter

South Africa isn’t out of the woods just yet!

The latest GDP figures show the economy expanded 3.3 percent during April and June – better than expected. After the negative growth recorded in the first quarter of the year, there were concerns the economy was dipping into a recession.  While this is good news for country, economists warn that the rest of the year is unlikely to grow at a similar pace.
