Buhari visits Paris to meet President Francois Hollande
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari visits Paris to meet with French President Francois Hollande. The two leaders are expected to talk about Nigeria’s Boko Haram insurgency, which has lasted for almost six years.
Buhari has made it his priority to erradicate the group and France has been assisting with the fight, organising a meeting in May between the country’s affected by Boko Haram, in an effort to form the joint military task force currently fighting the group.
The affected countries are Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon, and Chad. Buhari’s visit comes to an end on Wednesday.
