Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o and U2 frontman Bono dedicated the weekend performance of “Eclipsed”, to two girls that were still missing at the hands of Boko Haram.

Nyong’o is currently starring in the Broadway play which explores the bravery and courage of women during the Liberian civil war.

The play hopes to highlight the challenges faced by girls and women in conflict areas, globally.

Islamist militant group Boko Haram abducted 276 schoolgirls from Chibok northeast Nigeria in April, 2014.

57 managed to escape but 219 are still missing despite a global campaign involving celebrities and U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama.
