Best anthem in the world? Kenyan national anthem receives global praise after Rio closing ceremony
With the 2016 Olympic Games coming to a close, Kenya grabbed the whole world’s attention as its national anthem went in the air courtesy of Eliud Kipchoge’s gold medal win in the marathon race.
The anthem seemed to have melted the hearts of many, prompting many social media users to crown it as the world’s best national anthem.
While the Rio Games already had many memorable moments, the East African nation’s national anthem took its place among those moments as it received a thundering applause after its completion.
Social media users went to twitter to show their love for the anthem, some even promising to learn the anthem.
