ANTONY
Antony Jenins

After nearly 3 years at the helm of Barclays, Antony Jenins is no longer the Bank’s Chief Executive.

His departure has been described as a move that will boost operational efficiency and shareholder returns.

The Bank says Jenkins will receive a year’s salary of $ 1.7 million dollars, and he will remain eligible for a pro-rata performance bonus for the current year.

The decision to axe the CEO follows a period of lacklustre results and uncertainty about the bank’s future structure.
