Authorities embark on project of remapping South African city of Johannesburg

South Africa’s largest city, Johannesburg is getting an upgrade.

As the economic hub of the country, the city prides itself on being cosmopolitan, trendy and diverse. And with a population of over 4.4 million people, tracking down any number of these inhabitants can be quite a challenge. Authorities have embarked on the daunting task of remapping the city to provide proper addresses, street names and zoning.
