AU pushing for dialogue with Gambia President Jammeh

The African Union says it’s still working towards a peaceful transition of power in The Gambia.

The AU is trying to convince incumbent President Yahya Jammeh to vacate power for the election winner Adama Barrow. AU sources are now also suggesting that Gambia could be one of the agendas in the January 2017 summit.
