Any least three people have been killed in a helicopter crash in the Central African Republic, AFP reports quoting the United Nations mission there.

The helicopter which was carrying MINUSCA peacekeepers is said to have gone down in the western town of Bouar.

There has been no immediate reports of the number of troops that were in the helicopter at the time of the crash, or where it was heading to.

The nationalities of the troops that died in the crash is still not clear as well.
