English Premier League club Arsenal has set its sights on Ivorian forward Wilfried Zaha, with reports indicating that the London side has launched an official £40m to his current club, Crystal Palace.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with the Gunners this summer, with his brother saying the talented forward would love to make the switch.

“It’s my brother’s dream though, to play for Arsenal,” Zaha’s brother Judicael Boris Rodrigue Inchaud told Sky Sports News.

“Given all that Wilfried has given to Crystal Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European Football for the club he’s supported since childhood.”

Zaha is currently in Egypt playing for Cote d’Ivoire in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament. He has scored one goal in two games for the Elephants.

Zaha made 34 appearances for Crystal Palace last season, scoring ten times. He finished the season as the club’s second-best top scorer as well as the second-best assister.

Crystal Palace has however said it values the player at around £100, £60 more than Arsenal has offered.
