
Africans online debate African Union’s role in troubled African nations

A tweet that questions what the African Union is doing about on-going crises in some African countries has been retweeted many times as Southern Africans try to grasp the role of the African Union in solving the problems in Africa.
Africans are looking at the AU to fix the civil war and unrest in South Sudan, Burundi, Congo, Central African Republic and Mozambique. The troubled Zimbabwe, as protests spark a national shut down due to economic difficulties and Zambia as elections sparks violence in some areas. Terrorism troubling Somalia, Nigeria, Niger, Chad and Mali among other issues pillaging the continent.
