“It’s my first time. And it feels great. You can save time but it feels very comfortable. You don’t feel you’re on a high-speed train.” Said the African Union Commission chairperson, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma

AU chairperson said this after taking the high speed train from Beijing to Tianjin, adding that the African Union welcomes cooperation with China to build high-speed railways in Africa. She also visited the Tainjin high speed train station as well in the company of China’s ambassador to the African Union, Kaung Weilin. She is visiting China for six days.

China has cooperated and helped many countries in Africa in building highways, and the African Union is looking to cooperating on building high speed train network across Africa as well.

The chairperson of the African Union believes that there will be bright prospects for China-Africa cooperation.
