Abductors demand $300,000 for release of hostages kidnapped in Nigerian school

Gunmen who kidnapped eight people from a school in south-western Nigeria last week have issued a ransom demand. The Abductors are demanding $300,000 for release of hostages
The three students and five staff were seized from a Turkish international school in Ogun state, which borders the commercial capital Lagos.
Ogun is notorious for kidnappings – and the kidnappers frequently extract hefty ransoms.
Security agencies reportedly are searching for the victims, who include a Turkish teacher.
The search has drawn in the army and the navy – and they are combing the waterways of the region.
The school has been cordoned off and security beefed up, but there’s been a constant stream of parents, arriving to take away their children.
