Kenyan Afro-jazz & Afro-fusion singer Achieng’ Abura passes on, local media reports.

Abura won Kora Award in 2004 for Best East African Female, the award was shared with Tsedenia Gebremarkos of Ethiopia. She was also an UNDP Goodwill ambassador. She was the principal of East African Project Fame in 2008.
